What is SPAM and SAINT?
SAP tools for importing support packages (SPAM) and installing add-ons (SAINT) in ABAP systems.
SPAM imports support package queues and handles conflicts; SAINT installs or upgrades add-ons. Larger updates usually use SUM instead. Both require ABAP dictionary and repository adjustments afterwards.
