What is Client?
A self-contained organizational and data unit within an SAP system, identified by a three-digit number such as 100.
Most business data and customizing are client-dependent, while repository objects are cross-client. Clients 000 and 066 are SAP-reserved. A single system can host separate clients for configuration, unit testing, and training.
