What is Client Settings (SCC4)?
The transaction used to define clients and control their role, change options, and protection settings.
SCC4 sets the client role (such as production or test), whether changes are recorded in transports, and cross-client change permissions. Production clients are normally locked against changes. Misconfigured SCC4 settings are a common audit finding.
