What is Data Archiving?
Moving old business data from the database to archive files using archiving objects, then deleting it from tables.
Archiving uses SARA with objects such as FI_DOCUMNT. It reduces database size and conversion runtime. Archived data must remain accessible for audit, so read access should be tested.
