SAP S/4HANA
What is Universal Journal (ACDOCA)?
The single S/4HANA line-item table (ACDOCA) that stores General Ledger, controlling, asset, and material-ledger postings together.
In S/4HANA every financial posting writes one line item to ACDOCA, replacing separate totals and index tables such as GLT0, BSIS, and COEP for reporting purposes. FI and CO are reconciled by design, and reporting reads line items directly. Data migration and conversion testing must reconcile ACDOCA balances against legacy ledgers before sign-off.
