What is Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI)?
A standardized, remote-enabled function module for business objects, such as BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.
BAPIs are listed in the Business Object Repository (BAPI transaction). They are used by integrations, migration tools, and test data creation. Callers must commit with BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.
