Integration
What is Application Programming Interface (API)?
A defined interface through which software components exchange data or invoke functions.
SAP offers OData, SOAP, RFC/BAPI, and event APIs, documented on SAP Business Accelerator Hub. Released APIs carry stability guarantees. API-level tests verify business logic independently of the UI.
