What is Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)?

An integration style where systems publish events that others consume asynchronously, decoupling producers and consumers.

In SAP landscapes, EDA reduces point-to-point calls and polling. It introduces eventual consistency. Tests must verify outcomes after asynchronous processing completes.
