What is Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)?
A data integration pattern that extracts data from sources, transforms it, and loads it into a target.
ETL is used for data migration and data warehousing. ELT variants transform after loading in the target database. Transformation rules require data-level testing and reconciliation.
