What is Function Module (FM)?
A reusable ABAP procedure with a defined interface, grouped in function groups and optionally remote-enabled.
Remote-enabled function modules are the basis for RFC and BAPIs. They are tested individually in SE37. Many are not released for customer use in ABAP Cloud.
