What is ABAP Dictionary (DDIC)?
The central repository of database tables, views, data elements, domains, and structures in an ABAP system.
Dictionary objects define both technical and semantic attributes of fields. Changes to tables trigger database adjustments. SPDD handles dictionary conflicts during upgrades.
