What is Custom Table (Z Table)?
A customer-defined database table in the customer namespace, usually prefixed Z or Y.
Custom tables store data not covered by the standard. Maintenance views are generated via SE54 for table maintenance in SM30. Data in custom tables must be included in migration and archiving plans.
