What is System Copy?

Creating a duplicate of an SAP system, either homogeneous (same OS and database) or heterogeneous (different platform).

System copies support refreshes, migrations, and building new landscapes. Heterogeneous copies, also called OS/DB migrations, use export and import tools. DMO combines a database migration with an S/4HANA conversion.
