What is RFC Destination?
A configuration in SM59 that defines the target system, connection type, and credentials for outbound RFC or HTTP calls.
Connection types include ABAP (3), TCP/IP (T), and HTTP (G and H). Destinations must be adjusted after system copies so test systems do not call production. Connection and authorization tests are basic integration smoke tests.
