What is Intercompany (IC)?

Transactions between legal entities of the same group, such as intercompany sales or cross-company postings.

SAP supports intercompany billing, stock transport orders between company codes, and cross-company FI postings. Reconciliation and elimination are required for consolidation. These flows involve multiple company codes and are frequent integration-test failure points.
