What is Activity Type?
A CO unit of output from a cost center, such as machine hours, valued at a planned rate.
Activity types are used to allocate costs, for example from production cost centers to production orders through work-center confirmations. Planned activity prices are calculated or set each period. Missing prices block production confirmations and costing.
