What is Asset Under Construction (AuC)?
A special asset type that collects capital costs until a fixed asset is completed and settled to final assets.
AuCs often receive costs via settlement from WBS elements or internal orders. They are not normally depreciated. Settlement and capitalization date logic should be tested.
