What is Asset Accounting (FI-AA)?
The FI sub-ledger for managing fixed assets through acquisition, depreciation, transfer, and retirement.
Assets are organized by asset class and valued in depreciation areas. S/4HANA uses New Asset Accounting, posting in real time to all ledgers. Legacy asset data transfer and depreciation reconciliation are central migration tests.
