What is Company Code (CoCd)?
The smallest SAP organizational unit for which a complete, self-contained set of financial accounts is drawn up.
A company code usually represents a legal entity and carries a local currency, fiscal year variant, and chart of accounts. Plants, sales organizations, and purchasing organizations are assigned to it. Tests must cover each company code because country and currency settings differ.
