What is Spool and Output Requests?

SAP's print management system that holds output requests before sending them to printers or other devices.

Spool requests are viewed in SP01 and devices configured in SPAD. Output testing often inspects spool content instead of physical prints. Spool cleanup is a regular Basis job.
