SAP S/4HANA
What is SAP NetWeaver?
SAP's technology platform for ABAP and Java application servers on which ECC and older SAP products run.
NetWeaver AS ABAP provides the runtime, transport system, security, and integration layers for ABAP systems. S/4HANA uses its successor, ABAP Platform, which shares most concepts. Basis tools and terms such as SAP kernel and support packages come from this stack.
