What is Profile Parameter?
A configuration setting in an SAP instance or default profile that controls system behavior, such as memory or security.
Parameters such as login/min_password_lng are maintained in RZ10 and documented in RZ11. Some are dynamic, others need a restart. Test systems should mirror production parameter values to avoid false results.
