What is Open Item Management (OIM)?
A GL account setting that tracks individual line items as open until they are cleared against offsetting items.
It is used on clearing accounts such as GR/IR and bank clearing. Customer and supplier accounts always manage open items. Cutover must migrate open items at line-item level rather than as balances.
