What is Switch Framework (SFW)?
The SAP mechanism that controls the visibility of repository objects and configuration via switches tied to business functions.
The Switch Framework lets SAP deliver industry and enhancement-package code dormant in every system and enable it only when a business function is switched on. Objects tied to inactive switches are invisible at runtime. Testers should know which switches are active when comparing behavior across systems.
