Migration & Transformation
What is Selective Data Transition (SDT)?
A transition approach that moves selected data, organizational units, or history into S/4HANA using specialized tools.
SDT includes shell conversion and mix-and-match approaches, often with partner tools or SAP DMLT. It allows partial history and consolidation of systems. Sometimes called bluefield, it requires extensive data validation testing.
