What is Greenfield?
An S/4HANA transition approach that builds a new system with fresh configuration and migrates selected data.
Also called new implementation, it enables process redesign and adopts SAP best practices. Historical data is usually not migrated, only open items and balances. Testing is comprehensive since everything is new.
