Testing & Quality
What is Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT)?
Testing that the solution can be operated and supported: backups, monitoring, job schedules, failover, and support procedures.
OAT is often owned by IT operations or the managed service provider. Under RISE, part of it falls to SAP ECS. It is a common gap in ERP test strategies.
