What is Modification?
A direct change to an SAP standard repository object, requiring an access key and adjustment at each upgrade.
Modifications are tracked by the Modification Assistant and adjusted in SPAU after updates. They carry the highest upgrade risk. Clean core programs seek to replace them with enhancements or standard functions.
