What is Data Cleansing?
Correcting, standardizing, deduplicating, or archiving data before migration or ongoing use.
Cleansing is usually done in the source system or staging area with business ownership. Common targets are duplicate partners, obsolete materials, and invalid addresses. Starting early reduces mock-load defects.
