Reading SAP Business Processes for Testing
Teaches testers to read an SAP business process (end-to-end scenarios such as order to cash and procure to pay, the scope items and process flows that describe them) and turn it into testable steps with preconditions and downstream checks. Uses SAP Best Practices content and the test scripts in SAP Signavio Process Navigator as the reference point, and ends with a simple process-to-test traceability sketch.

What you’ll be able to do
- Describe the structure of an end-to-end process (scenario, process, step) and identify handoffs between modules
- Locate standard SAP Best Practices test scripts for a scope item
- Identify the master data, organizational units and configuration a process step depends on
- Mark integration points and documents that must be verified downstream (deliveries, invoices, accounting documents)
- Produce a process-to-test traceability sketch for one end-to-end scenario
