What is Workday?

A SaaS suite for HCM, payroll, financial management, and planning built on a single object-based data model.

Workday runs on a single code line with two major feature releases per year plus weekly service updates. Configuration uses business processes, security groups, and calculated fields. Release preview tenants enable regression testing before each release.
