A strategy where a corporate ERP is complemented by smaller ERPs in subsidiaries, integrated for financial consolidation.
For example, S/4HANA at headquarters with Public Edition or Business ByDesign in subsidiaries. Intercompany and consolidation integration is key. Testing must cover cross-system processes.
