What is Test Double?

A substitute for a real dependency, such as a mock or stub, used to isolate the unit under test.

ABAP offers test double frameworks for classes, function modules, CDS views, and database tables. Doubles make unit tests independent of system data. They enable unit tests in CI pipelines.
