What is Role Testing?
Testing that users with production-equivalent roles can perform their tasks and are blocked from unauthorized actions.
Positive tests confirm required access; negative tests confirm restrictions and SoD. It is often combined with UAT using role-based test users. Skipping it leads to access issues at go-live.
