What is Authorization Check?

The runtime test of whether a user holds an authorization object with required field values.

Failed checks produce 'You are not authorized' messages. SU53 shows the last failed check and the authorization trace (STAUTHTRACE) records all checks. Authorization defects are among the most common UAT issues.
