What is Release Upgrade Testing?

Regression testing performed before a vendor applies a scheduled SaaS or cloud ERP release to production.

Public Edition, SuccessFactors, Workday, and Oracle Cloud ERP all ship periodic releases with fixed timelines. Test windows are short, so automated regression suites are essential. Results feed go or no-go decisions on adopting new features.
