What is Generative AI (GenAI)?

AI that produces new content, such as text, code, or images, from patterns learned in training data.

In ERP delivery it drafts specifications, test cases, code, and documentation, and powers copilots such as Joule. Outputs can be wrong or inconsistent and need human review. Governance covers data privacy, IP, and auditability.
