What is Core Data Services View (CDS)?
A semantically rich data model defined in SAP's CDS language, executed in the database, underlying S/4HANA analytics, APIs, and Fiori apps.
CDS views use annotations for analytics, UI, OData, and authorization. View entities are the current form, replacing DDIC-based CDS views. Testing CDS-based apps means verifying data, authorizations through DCL, and performance.
