What is Warehouse Task (WT)?

An EWM document that instructs a product movement from a source bin to a destination bin.

Warehouse tasks are created for putaway, picking, and internal moves and are confirmed manually or via RF. They are grouped into warehouse orders for execution. Confirmation errors are a common EWM test failure.
