What is Warehouse Management (WM)?

SAP's classic warehouse component managing bins, transfer orders, and putaway and picking strategies.

Classic WM (LE-WM) is part of S/4HANA compatibility scope with limited usage rights; Embedded or decentralized EWM is the successor. Migration from WM to EWM is a common S/4HANA sub-project. It uses transfer requirements and transfer orders.
