What is Quality Gate (Q-Gate)?
A formal checkpoint at the end of a project phase where deliverables are reviewed against criteria before proceeding.
SAP Activate defines quality gates at each phase transition. Test-related gates check strategy approval, test completion, and defect thresholds. Gates can be passed with conditions and tracked actions.
