What is Batch Input (BDC)?
A technique that simulates dialog transactions screen by screen to enter data, often used for loads and legacy interfaces.
Sessions are recorded with SHDB and processed in SM35. It is sensitive to screen changes after upgrades. Migration Cockpit and APIs are preferred in S/4HANA.
