Pricing and the Condition Technique

Pricing check card

  • Chain: pricing procedure → condition type → access sequence → condition table → condition record.
  • Procedure = sales area + document pricing procedure (order type) + customer pricing procedure (customer).
  • Records: VK11 / VK12 / VK13 or Manage Prices - Sales. Check validity against the pricing date.
  • Pricing analysis: item → Conditions → Analysis. Read the key values of each access.
  • "No record found" → compare key fields and dates. "Requirement not fulfilled" → ask which requirement.
  • Header conditions: percentage applies to every item; group amount is split; non-group amount is copied to each item.
  • Manual changes: condition type controls, record limits, authorizations. Pricing type B redetermines everything.
  • Test boundaries: validity dates, scale breaks (99/100/101), competing discounts, manual limits.
  • Evidence per item: pricing analysis, conditions and net value vs expected, pricing date, document numbers.
  • Always check the invoice too: billing can re-price.
