Hypercare and Transition to Run

Keep this: job aid

Hypercare lead's checklist

  • Hypercare plan approved at go/no-go: roster, hours, tiers, ticket categories, priorities, fix path.
  • Key users booked for floor support in week one at every site.
  • SAP Cloud ALM monitoring and alerts tested before go-live; business KPIs compared daily with a normal legacy day.
  • Every issue is a ticket; triage by fixed categories; priorities by impact and workaround.
  • Fixes follow an expedited but controlled path: test, regression of the affected process, approval, release slot.
  • Exit criteria agreed before go-live: ticket trend, no P1, owned backlog, first close, KPIs, handover.
  • Extend only for named gaps, with a new review date.
  • Staged transition: shadow, reverse shadow, first line alone, signed acceptance.
  • Handover pack: tickets, known errors, documentation, runbooks, monitoring, test assets, contacts.
  • Regression suite seeded from SIT and UAT, grown from hypercare incidents, run per release.
