What is Usage Decision (UD)?
The QM decision on whether inspected material is accepted or rejected, triggering stock postings.
UD codes map to follow-up actions and stock postings such as release to unrestricted. Quality scores can update supplier evaluation. It is mandatory to close an inspection lot.
