What is MRP Type?
A material master key that controls how and whether a material is planned, such as PD (MRP) or VB (reorder point).
MRP types determine the planning procedure and firming behavior. Lot-sizing procedures complement them. Misconfigured MRP types cause unplanned or overplanned materials.
