Report and KPI test card

• Write the purpose, exact selection (saved variant) and expected result before running.
• Use controlled test data so the expected result is known.
• Reconcile in two directions: to documents and to the ledger (Trial Balance) or a trusted report.
• Compare selections side by side: ledger, period, date basis, currency, accounts.
• Filters: positive, negative, ranges, empty selection, defaults, drill-down.
• Authorizations: real production roles; check too few and too many rows; check exports.
• KPI card: question, formula, grain, population, period, target, thresholds, source, owner.
• Test threshold boundaries and tile vs drill-down consistency.
• Sign only reports that are reconciled, restricted, defined and owned.
• Keep report tests in the regression pack; re-reconcile at first month-end and each release.
