Test data planning card

• Split each scenario's data: configuration, master data, transactional preconditions.
• Read every expected result backwards to find the record that produces it.
• Give each tester or scenario dedicated, tagged records; never change shared master data mid-test.
• Stock: movement type 561 for quick setup; PO and goods receipt when history matters.
• Credit: set an exact limit and know the exposure (UKM_BP or Manage Credit Accounts).
• Check financial (OB52) and materials management (MMPV) periods; write dates relative to the run.
• Production copies only with data owner and data protection approval, masked, then smoke tested.
• Keep a data sheet per scenario: records, source, before state, consumption, documents.
• Keep upload templates and setup scripts versioned so a refresh means a rebuild, not a restart.
